Connection

i-Catcher can either work alone in which case it does all the recording and alerting, or via the Console where all images are sent to the Console to save.

Standalone

In Standalone mode, i-Catcher needs to know whether it can connect directly to the email or FTP server or whether it needs to connect using a dial up connection.

Connect to i-Catcher Console

When i-Catcher is connected to Console, it will do all the image analysis and send all the images to Console.

  • Camera name: is a unique name that is used to reference this feed in Console.
  • Console address: is the Path to the feeds directory configured in the Console.
  • Send trigger on X events in Y seconds: The trigger settings here are what cause Console to process any alerts configured for this feed.
  • Allow remote administration: If this option is ticked, the settings for this Sentry can be configured by the Console.
  • Save stills locally: will cause i-Catcher to save all motion to the local hard disk in the event that iCatcher Sentry is unable to connect to the iCatcher Console so you still have any vital CCTV images.
