Time span recording Time Span Recording is a feature that allows i-Catcher to record for a period before and after an evvent has been triggered. Post event recordingAfter enabling this feature, by checking the box marked 'continue recording after motion', you can set the time period to record. i-Catcher can also save a video for the timespan period by selecting "Save as video stream" instead of "Save individual stills". By clicking "Advanced...", you can set the video codec and compression settings used. All recorded videos will be saved under the Videos directory in the working path. Please note that the frame rate is not the speed at which video frames are recorded from the image source, but the frame rate at which captured frames will be played back. Pre-emptive recordingPre-emptive recording will cache any images for the specified period and they will be saved out once when the trigger is reached. |
