Configuring image validation Each image that iCatcher Console saves has extra information saved along with it so that that any tampering with the image can be detected. Check image signature during Playback will validate each image viewed during playback and warn the user if any images appeared to have been tampered with Check image signatures from Remote Sentry's will validate images from Sentry clients, and warn the user if an image appears to have been tampered with Email warning when an invalid image is encountered will send an admin alert when a tampered image is found. Note that these settings do not apply when using sources that record direct to disk like the motion JPEG multistream or RTSP/H.264 sources. |
