iCatcher Console V4.0 Due for release 02/11/2009 Feature rich and affordable, and with over 120,000 camera licences in use world wide, iCatcher truly is one of the market leaders in CCTV Software. Version 4.0 introduces iDomain, making multiple server installations a doddle. iDomain provides users with one front end to multiple servers, both locally and via a browser. Manageable installations of 100's of cameras are now possible without spending all your budget on licensing. Other features include a dedicated iPhone browser, X10 home automation support and actions on IO triggers. iCatcher Console can switch mains powered devices on events, such as motion detection, when a preset temperature or other sensor value is reached, or when a virtual tripwire has been crossed. Users can then be alerted via SMS or email and then login and view all of this live from their iPhone, PDA, mobile phone or of course, any PC. The standard web view does not require the installation of ActiveX controls and runs purely with Java. You can now actually view your cameras from hotels, airports or any Java enabled PC world wide, without the problem of user permissions to install an ActiveX control. Additional hardware support includes the new Genie H.264 IP cameras. iCatcher Console can record & playback Genie H.264 IP cameras at full frame rate with audio. Also, support has been included for Panasonic's latest iPro cameras, Avantech ADAMS IO devices, X10 home automation, LOGIT BlackBox Sensors and RS485 / 232 Pelco PTZ support. What's new in Console 4.0:
* Tracking in iPod Touch requires constant Wi-Fi connection. Position accuracy depends on availability of access point position data from the Apple database. * i-Catcher Pro is an upcoming release for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Added camera/device support:
