Running multiple copies of i-Catcher Multiple copies of the client application on one computer are possible using profiles, all that is required is a different working directory for each profile that is doing motion detection or time-lapse. The use of profiles also allows different personalities on cameras, scheduled at different times of the day. i-Catcher stores the video feed device in the profile so it will start up using that next time. Some devices (USB web cameras) only use one device for all of the cameras. Depending on the driver, it will either display a box asking you to select an alternative device or automatically select the next free one. |
